Daily Drawing for Sept. 9

My fiancé asked for a piggy strapped to a bunch of colorful balloons. I think she’s in a Disney mood! (My personal favorite is probably The Emperor’s New Groove, but there are so many good ones to choose from.)

Unfortunately, today is one of those days when I just didn’t muster the creative oomph to undertake such a task. Instead I practiced a bit of observational drawing, using a photo reference. I got as far as the roughing in of some shaded values, and I think I’ll polish this one up a bit tomorrow.

Don’t worry babe, your pig aviator is coming.

Everything's there. Now I just need to spend an hour or so really nailing down the form.
